I first met Elise via "the gram". We became friends and I was impressed with her down to earth lifestyle and zest for life. She is also a badass biker babe who also lives with Rheumatoid Arthritis, this is her story.

"Some days are easier than others. Some days it's easier to push through the pain and some days I can't.

It's been four years since I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and thinking back to all the days I couldn't even move, or the days when I'm in tears because the pain is so severe reminds me that I still got through that. Just taking it day by day, and living life as it throws its curves at me."

Rheumatoid arthritis, or RA, is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease, which means that your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake, causing inflammation (painful swelling) in the affected parts of the body.
